Linda Yarbrough has 28 years of esteemed experience with MTA NYCT. Beginning her career as a Station Cleaner, she ascended the ranks, holding various positions including Rail Road Clerk and Train Operator. In 2006, she became a supervisor (Train Dispatcher). As a Train Service Supervisor and School Car Instructor for Operations Training, Linda is tasked with training newly appointed Train Operators, Conductors and monitoring their performance after being released to Field Operation. Her experience rest in providing oversight, supervision of employee qualification and performance of all Train Operators, Conductors and Tower Operation. Ms. Yarbrough decided to lend her service and leadership aptitude to COMTO-New York in 2009. She serves as Chairwoman of the Membership Committee and under her leadership the chapter won the national Recruitment and Retention award in 2016. Her experience and commitment to excellence are an asset to the chapter – we are very fortunate to have her return in her role as Chairwoman.
